Hello!
Hi, I'm Maria Torres, and I help people to love learning and playing the piano.
For over 25 years, I have taught piano to hundreds of students and music to thousands of them. In a way, I've made many mistakes, but I've also learnt from these and improved my teaching.
I have developed a way of teaching that combines a multisensory method, the most up-to-date evidence-based research in piano education, games, technologies, and a vast repertoire of many musical styles. All this, combined with an individualized approach, makes learning feel easy, fun, and memorable for students of all learning styles.
We all are musical! You only need motivation and a experienced and expert guide to help you discover and develop your musical skills in a rewarding and exciting way.
My approach to teaching
My teaching philosophy makes lessons fun, engaging, and effective for students of all ages and levels.

When I first started teaching piano, I used to do it in a traditional way, which means, according to a very old education model. While some students do well this way, the vast majority, unfortunately, give up during the first years of the learning process. I have heard many people say, "I wish I hadn't given up piano when I was a kid".

That is why I am constantly innovating my way of teaching music to captivate and inspire my students' interests in learning and playing music throughout their lives.
